The ministry of IT and Telecom on Tuesday announced that Pakistan is preparing for the introduction of 5G services from august 2024. Pakistan is going to join the group of nations that can use 5G and it is good for technical development of Pakistan.
Officials published the business plan for 5G introduction in the country. Demand of telecommunication services raised in Pakistan. Telecom companies requested for free 5G spectrum allocation, but the request was denied by the government. The government decided to assist companies in building infrastructure.
The PTA has asked to join hands for the selection of consultant who can help in implementing the project.
